No, I’m not talking about the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing’s (NASCAR) Chase to the Sprint Cup, nor I am talking about the return of college football. I’m speaking of the largest trade show for the JanSan industry: ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America. And, as an added bonus, this year’s Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) Convention will be co-located with ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America for the first time since these two organizations entered into an alliance agreement in March of 2009. ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America will be held Tuesday, November 9 through Friday, November 12 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, while the BSCAI Convention will be held Thursday, November 11 through Sunday, November 14. While both organizations have stressed that the alliance agreement only pertains to the two aforementioned annual events, BSCAI members will be eligible to attend ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America at member rates. Aside from numerous educational events, a plethora of live demonstrations and countless interactive booths, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be the keynote speaker at this year’s event. Blair’s keynote address, which will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, gives show attendees the opportunity to submit questions beforehand to help guide the direction of the presentation and make the content more engaging. As per usual, Cleaning & Maintenance Management ® magazine will be present with our custodial training and education arm, the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI).
