News EPA Recognizes Ice Melt Product North American Salt Company (NASC) recently announced that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded the Design for the Environment (DfE) label to its ice melt prod-uct Pro Series 960 Choice Formula. The DfE label is awarded after the EPA’s review team has screened each ingredient contained in a product and found each to pose the least concern among chemicals in its class.
