around the industry People Diversey Chairman Takes Leave Of Absence Diversey Inc. has announced that S. Curtis Johnson will take leave of absence, nam-ing Helen Johnson-Leipold as chairman. The announcement came after the notice from Johnson that he was resigning from the board of directors and taking a leave of absence as chairman. Johnson told the board he is taking a leave for personal reasons. Johnson-Leipold, a member of the board of directors for both Diversey Holdings and Diversey Inc., is chairman of Johnson Financial Group and chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of Johnson Outdoors Inc. 15-year background in the janitorial industry, Purdie has previously worked with Activeion Cleaning Solutions LLC, Nilfisk-Advance Inc. and Minuteman International in high-level positions covering distribution, man-agement and sales. Mourning The Passing Of A Friend On January 5, 2011, Michele Budreaux , vice president of sales for KleenRite Equipment, lost her fight with cancer. Having spent over 20 years with KleenRite, Budreaux was well-known in the industry. All who were acquainted with Budreaux knew her to be very tenacious, never want-ing to give up on anything. KleenRite and Budreaux’s son, Kyle, thank all who called with concern and sup-port throughout her fight and for their condo-lences since her untimely death.
