News Clorox Green Works Recognized By IEHA The International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) recently announced that Green Works concentrated clean-ers from Clorox Professional Products Company have been recognized as High Performance Cleaning Products (HPCP). To be approved for the IEHA HPCP program, a product must perform exceed-ingly well on more than one type of dirt and soil as determined by the Toxic Use Reduction Institute (TURI) at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. NSF Offering Chemical Evaluations NSF International is now offering chem-ical reviews in accordance with Clean Production Action’s (CPA) GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals program. GreenScreen reviews, which are offered through NSF International’s Sustainability division, allow organizations to substitute hazardous chemicals with safer alternatives. NFSI and IEHA Form Educational Partnership The National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) and the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) have announced an educational partnership to disseminate information designed to help the cleaning industry reduce the incidences of slips and falls. NFSI will assist IEHA in producing edu-cational materials, including additions to IEHA’s Safety and Security Module, which is integral to the Technical and Administrative portion of IEHA’s Professional Education Credentialing Program (PECP).
