Vermont School Custodian Of The Year Announced The Vermont School Custodians and Maintenance Association has honored cus-todian Ben Beers as the 2012 Vermont School Custodian of the Year. Beers has been a custodian at Burr and Burton Academy for more than five decades, beginning his career the day after he gradu-ated from the school. Beers not only oversees the general main-tenance of the school, but is also the go-to person for repairing, fixing, plumbing, paint-ing and electrical work.
